RAKS stands for Razia, Artemisia and Khalida's Summerschool.
RAKS was conceived in the summer of 2008 when Razia, Artemisia, and Khalida spent a weekend together studying with their mutual idol and inspiration, Aziza of US/Canada.
3 international dancers from very different backgrounds found each other through their shared love for this art form. They decided to combine their experience and their favorite teaching topics into a summer school for bellydance, and so the idea for RAKS was born..
And this means: Get yourself ready for 4 days of summer filled to the brim with fun and challenging workshops in Belgium, plus a smokin' hot hafla!
RAKS.be will be held on 2-3-4 and 5 July 2009 in Leuven(BE), near Brussels. It promises to be a great event, so be sure to mark the dates in your agendas!
