UPDATE: Due to popular demand we will have not one but TWO RAKS events this year! Double the fun!! The RAKS dates for 2010 are 1-2-3-4 July and 5-6-7-8 August. Enrollments for both events will be open on Friday, 19th of February 2010. Get ready to (en)roll!!
RAKS stands for Razia, Artemisia and Khalida's Summerschool and was conceived in the summer of 2008, when Razia, Artemisia, and Khalida spent a weekend together studying with their mutual idol and inspiration, Aziza.
3 international dancers from very different backgrounds found each other through their shared love for this art. They decided to combine their experience and their favorite teaching topics into a summer school for bellydance, and so the idea for RAKS was born..
The first edition 2009 was a huge succes, so in 2010 we'll be back with a bang!!!
What this means: Get yourself ready for another 4-day belly dance bootcamp this summer in Belgium, filled to the brim with fun and challenging workshops, plus a smokin' hot RAKS hafla!
